I wasnt trolling I was responding to your inaccurate remarks.

Alright, I'll leave this response so you get me: I'm not really that interested in that debate any more, and frankly, I don't want it shifting here. I just want advice on microphones. There are other places to talk about it, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't derail my unimposing news posts.

It depends on what "not too expensive" means. Logitech sells <a href="<a href="http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/webcam_communications/microphones/&cl=us,en">http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/web cam_communications/microphones/&c l=us,en</a>">these mics</a> on their site. I have Logitech's USB headphones/microphone set and it works very well, though I can't find that excact thing on their site.

Those don't look terribly pricey. Is the only difference between the two that the first uses USB and the second uses a microphone input (that pink one, right?)?

Start here:
<a href="http://www.the-microphone-guide.com/computer-microphones.html">http://www.the-microphone-guide.com/c omputer-microphones.html</a>

Then figure out what you need and search websites such as Futureshop, Best Buy, Staples, the Source or any other local electronics store.

If you want some real high quality stuff, you can purchase a studio/stage microphone and then purchase a converting cable that changes the input to something that will fit in the microphone jack on your PC.

Or just keep it simple and buy something like this:
<a href="http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10002227&catid=10007">http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/prod detail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&s ku_id=0665000FS10002227&catid=100 07</a>

They're both basically the same principle.

Oh my. Thanks for the advice.

err search google, or go to a pc store, and look for logitech they have soem in good prize.

Well, it's nice to get opinions from people who've actually tried them.

and.. wha else will you do in your movies

What else will I do? Err... what do you mean?

upcoming projects.

Well, the prequel to walter joyce will deal with somewhat similar psychological themes, though the character and context will be different.

or anyhing related to.

Well I use a MXL .006. It was about $120 at guitar center.

Most voice actors use the C01U ( or something like that).
